Amit Sharma
Independent Consultant
Solution Architect / Tech. Lead / Developer.
WHAT I DO
I create / design software application and solutions; and I've been working in the IT industry for over 13 years. Whether its designing a front-end or a back-end layer, I thrive to work with all the aspects of solution designing - from every minor details to the over-all big picture, a full stack developer you can say. Solution architecture and Azure Cloud has been my latest interest in technology.
WHAT I LOVE
The C# - how can you not love the C#?! It certainly hold a great importance in my life :-) Love to play the C# on a guitar, love to play the C# on a piano and, last but not least, the C# .Net is one of my favorite programming languages! Asides from this, there are probably gazillions of things which I love but I'll come back to that later :)
WHERE I LIVE
After having lived across a few different continents and fast paced life, I think I've finally found peace in the beautiful country called Norway. People are friendly and the environment is peaceful. At times I do get tempted to explore the world a bit more and move on, but I don't. There is just something which holds me back here. I don't know what it is, but untill I find out what that something is, Norway is where you'll find me.
So who am I really ?
I'm a software consultant, graduated with M.I.T., I've been working with Microsoft technologies & the .Net framework for quite a few years now. I've always loved my work and was very intrigued by the fact that you can be very creative in the field of software developement. I guess, this is what got me pursuing computer science when I first started. Creativity fuels my passion for Information Technology. The constant need to learn & create eventually becomes a life style than just a job; and knowledge/information becomes the food for the brain :)
I've worked with a diverse set of technologies throughout my life and gained a vast experience through all the projects I worked on. The years (working with IT) flew by, but yet the hunger for learning more never seemed to get satisfied. Where does one stop?! If there was a passion button to switch it off, then I haven't found it yet. I'd like to quote - When you stop learning, you stop growing! I believe that you learn the most when you step out of your comfort zone and I (often) like to do exactly that. I've worked with all sorts of different layers/areas - front-end, UI designing, back-end, business logic, services, design patterns, databases, solution architectures, CRMs, ERPs, CMSs and so on....! If someone asks me what do I like to work with the most, my answer would be - everything / anything!
In case you're intested in the details of my work experience and my CV please feel free to use the contact form at the end of this page to get in touch me.
Why Dynoboy ?!
The nick
Dynoboy has no relation, what-so-ever, to the Hanna Barbera character Dino Boy! The nick Dynoboy just got stuck with me ever since I was kid. There's a ridiculous story behind it :-p which I'm not going to write down here....honestly, it's nothing even close to, as exciting as, having been to the secret Lost Valley and back! No, no, no. Everyone, who knows me, knows that Dynoboy is associated with me (Amit Sharma) in the online world.
But don't confuse me with numerous other ids or profiles named Dynoboy, not all the results returned by a google search link up to me (...if only I could make'em disappear!). The same thing happens if you search up Amit Sharma. You will end up with countless profiles because it is one of the most used names amongst Indians. Here's a fact, I know of about 7-8 other Amit Sharma's that I've met personally in my life! I've worked in companies where they had 3-4 employees named Amit Sharma. You have no idea how confusing it gets for others when they end up sending emails to the wrong Amit Sharma. So receiving emails, that actually belongs to another employees with the same name, has been a part of my job and I kid you not!
